This Privacy Policy describes how Vizard ("Vizard," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

To prepare your case, the Services may ask you for details such as your name, contact information, country and destination, visa type, travel and study history, employment, financial context, and answers you enter or speak during preparation and mock interviews. You choose what to share; some features need certain details to work.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services we may collect device and usage data such as app version, device type, general location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with features. This helps us keep the Services reliable and improve them.

Payment information

Subscriptions are processed by our payment providers (for example, the Apple App Store). We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

2. How we use information

• To provide the Services, generate your readiness estimates, build your preparation plan, and run interview rehearsals.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including debugging and analytics.
• To communicate with you about updates, support, and, where permitted, product news you can opt out of.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We share information only in limited circumstances:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, and AI processing), under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
• Business transfers, if Vizard is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in how your information is handled.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, then retain and delete it according to our retention schedule and applicable law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and other safeguards described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tryvizard.com. You can also manage notifications and delete your account within the app.

7. International users

Vizard operates globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
